Our inaugural production was Brooklyn comedian Kristina DeGiovanni’s twisted new solo play The Temp. Fleabag-meets-The Office for the post-Great Resignation era, The Temp lampoons white-collar corporate culture through a tale of lies, betrayal, and absurd impersonations of desperate co-workers.

Developed in 2022, The Temp had workshop performances at Pete’s Candy Store and 14th Street Y, before premiering in July 2023 at The Tank and 59E59’s East to Edinburgh program. The Temp was then selected to be performed at Gilded Balloon for the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Featured in The Guardian and receiving rave reviews, The Temp performed to over 400+ audience members during the month of August 2023.

Back stateside, The Temp sold out Caveat in March 2024 and had a two-night run in Los Angeles at The Yard in July 2024.
